Hi, I’m Kristen and I live in New Jersey with my husband, Bryan with our crazy dog, Gus. We met eight years ago and accidentally found our love for travel when I was sent to Spain for work only a few months after being married. We survived the two week trip (and each other) and came out the other side with a wanderlust neither of us had ever considered.
I graduated college in 2005 with a degree in engineering and started working full time. In 2008, I switched jobs, got married and started traveling outside the US. Up until that point I had only been to the Caribbean on a few family cruises. In the past five years I’ve been to Vancouver, Rome, London, Madrid, Dublin, Seville and Negril just to name a few. Along the way I’ve learned some efficient ways to save, plan, research and pack for anything…whether it’s a three day weekend at the beach or a fifteen day trip in Europe.
With this blog I’ll be sharing the good, the bad and the ridiculous of my past trips and my now infamous research techniques for future trips. I hope you find some of the travel tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way useful. Here’s Tip #1: Don’t get lost in Naples.
I’m not an expert in the travel, just a regular person who got to see some amazing places in the world. All opinions are my own from my own experiences, and I’m just trying to pay it forward.
